CO Roundtable: EU Housing Strategy - ensuring CO safety

The new European Commission has committed to make decarbonised, decent and affordable housing for all a top priority during this new term and has announced important initiatives such as the European Affordable Housing Plan and EU Heating & Cooling Action Plan. These must duly consider domestic health & safety issues, notably with regard to risks associated with heating systems - especially in a context where rising energy poverty represents another vulnerability factor. This is all the more important as EU Member States are preparing their Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) implementing measures and long term building renovation strategies.

Focusing on these issues, the CO Roundtable will bring together speakers such as MEP Adam Jarubas (EPP, Poland) and MEP Grégory Allione (Renew, France), Marco Morini (DG ENER, ‘Buildings and Products’ Unit) and key stakeholders – more information in the draft agenda below.
