Euralarm has started a new project that aims to establish a comprehensive European database focused on the registration of Li-ion batteries, solar panels, EVs, and energy storage in buildings. Stakeholders wanting to contribute to the new initiative are invited to reach out to Euralarm.

Following a decision of its Board, Euralarm has welcomed Safety Technology International as new member.

The European Parliament has plenary voted in favour of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) recently. This is a major step towards decarbonisation of the building stock. However, the new directive also creates fire safety and security challenges. Euralarm proposes a planned and holistic approach of these topics.

The professional team of Euralarm has been strengthened with Carlos Perez as new Technical Manager for the Fire and Extinguishing sections. Carlos succeeds Michael Scharnowsky who is retiring.
