The 50th General Assembly of Euralarm, the European association representing the fire safety and security Industry, closed today. As a new Board and Managing Director were introduced, Delegates from national associations and blue-chip companies acknowledged that the Industry is more unified, better integrated into European decision-making processes.
Euralarm has released today its Annual Report. The publication of the report coincides with the end of the Euralarm Board’s three-year mandate and therefore, beyond the usual account of the past year’s activities, it also offers a review of the work achieved during that three-year period, particularly in terms of invigorating the Euralarm community.

The European fire and security Industry has now strengthened its voice at European level and consolidated its European representation, in preparation for upcoming challenges at regulatory, technological and political levels. The new section within Euralarm will help shape the future of the fire extinguishing business segment of the Industry.
Following a decision of its Board, Euralarm has welcomed its newest Member Teletek Electronics. The company will join the Fire Section of Euralarm, which activities cover fire detection, notification, evacuation, extinguishing controls and smoke and heat ventilation.
AGA, a Czech Member of Euralarm is sponsoring a free workshop ‘Crime prevention – Natural and technical prevention for smart and safe cities’, to be held in Prague on November 22nd, 2017.
BHE, the German Federal Association of Security Engineering, a long-standing Euralarm Member within its Services Section, has decided to extend its Membership to the two other Euralarm Sections: Fire and Security.
