There are only a few weeks to go before the doors of the Euralarm GA and symposium will open in Madrid. I look forward to meeting the Euralarm members during the GA and symposium. The symposium is also open for non-members and I’d like to invite them to meet the European fire and security industry. Your presence will change this event into a communication platform for our industry.
It’s almost a year ago that I took over the presidency of Euralarm. A year that has been full of developments that influence our industry. Just one look at our website is enough to underline that statement. When I took over I wanted to engage our members by communicating with them about the trends in our business and about the relevance of a strong and clearly visible association. I think we’re on the right track but I’m also sure that we need to keep demonstrating to our members how important Euralarm is an industry that is moving rapidly forward.
In that sense the General Assembly is one of the annual highlights where members meet, network and communicate. An event where decisions are taken and plans are made. An event that combines association affairs with our high profile symposium. This year’s symposium will focus on innovation, standardization, regulation and other developments that will shape the future of our sector. It’s an unique event that brings together fire safety and security experts from across Europe to share insights, to network and to listen to market changes impacting their professional activities. With members and other professionals discussing a variety of up-and-coming topics impacting the industry this is a perfect example of a powerful communication platform.
This year’s symposium will also be the moment that we share our view on the next years. Spreading the word to a larger audience starts at the symposium. I therefor invite you to visit the symposium. Let’s combine our forces to communicate our messages.
I’m looking forward to welcome the Euralarm members and the fire and security industry during the GA and symposium!
