Euralarm expands its activities into fire extinguishing, offering new opportunities for its Members and the entire fire Industry to act as one at a European level.
The 2018 EUSAS-Euralarm Conference, the second edition of the event will be hosted by Airbus and will take place at the Airbus facilities in Bremen, Germany, on July 10th and 11th, 2018. The topic of the conference will be ‘Fire Safety and Security in the Aviation Sector’.

Euralarm, the European trade association of the electronic fire safety and security Industry, has published its Annual Report 2016-2017. The report underlines the impact of the association on the future of standardisation, electroninc fire safety, security and associated services.
In autumn 2016, Euralarm’s Romanian association Member ARTS requested help from Euralarm Members in order to overcome an issue raised by a new local regulation. The national standard issued in 2015 considerably reduced the possibility for electronic fire safety products manufacturers to sell their certificated products and to use them in projects.
Euralarm will be represented at the CEN-CENELEC StandarDays 2017, which will take place in Brussels at the CEN-CENELEC Management Centre on 20-21 April. Participants in this public event will receive a structured overview of the European Standardisation System, CEN-CENELEC products and processes, as well as the benefits of stakeholder involvement.
