Euralarm Medal for Gilbert van Langeveld
Gilbert van Langeveld has a great reputation and experience in Euralarm. In 1976 he joined Euralarm as the VEBON representative in the Fire section.
In 1998 he was elected as the Vice chairman of the Fire section and from 2002 as the Chairman. After the change of the Euralarm statutes at the Euralarm General Assembly 2002 in Lillehammer / Norway and the extension of Euralarm by Industry members from 2004 Gilbert van Langeveld was appointed as the new CEO of Euralarm.
In this period the EQM project was initiated to establish a European certification scheme for electronic Fire and Security products, systems and service.
For his contribution to this project and especially to Euralarm since 1976 Gilbert van Langeveld received the Euralarm Medal.
The Euralarm General Assembly 2009 was also the place for Gilbert van Langeveld to say Good Bye to Euralarm after five years of being the CEO of Euralarm and he thanked for the great and successful time he had in the Euralarm community.
